The Bent Tree community is situated in the heart of Florida’s Sarasota County. The entire neighborhood is centered around a beautiful private golf course which acts as the focal point for many of the community’s amenities and social life. This gated community has a total of 450 golf homes and more than 50 golf condominium units. The Bent Tree golf club is a private country club and golf course originally designed by Bill Lewis in 1975, then followed by Ward Northrup in 1994. Its latest renovation was facilitated by world-renowned golf architect Ron Garl, along with the help of Keith Pope, and it now measures 6,606 yards from its longest tees. Full golf membership at the club is available to all residents but is not compulsory. However, all of Bent Tree’s golf home purchases come with a social membership which grants residents access to the clubhouse restaurant and other facilities at the club.

Bent Tree is a great residential location because despite its secluded atmosphere it is near shopping malls and restaurants. Residents can drive to downtown Sarasota in less than half an hour, and since this neighborhood is close to I-75, popular tourist attractions including Sarasota’s beautiful beaches are easily accessible.

The community has a full calendar of social activities for golfers and non-golfers alike. Since Bent Tree takes pride in giving its residents a true sense of community along with the country club lifestyle, there are regular events held inside the village that all community members can participate in.
