Surrounding Carrollwood Country Club in Hillsborough County, Florida, is an unincorporated community that is comprised of some 3,500 single family homes, townhomes and condominiums. Centrally located outside the heart of Tampa Bay the Carrollwood Village is a great place to call home.

The community’s Phase I, Phase II, and Phase III developments all added to the amenities on offer to residents. In 2003, while Dan Maples redesigned the golf course, a new clubhouse and recreation center was also built, together with the golf condos and vacation villas. The name changed to Carrollwood Country Club to preserve the original history of the club that opened in 1972. The club also offers golfers a tour quality practice facility, which includes multiple tees and practice greens. It also features eight Har-Tru tennis courts with stadium lighting, a state-of-the-art fitness center and a junior Olympic-sized heated swimming pool.

As a private country Club, residents are offered an active lifestyle providing them with endless amenities and activities. Carrollwood has a 50-room condo resort on the property that overlooks its Tennis and Aquatics Center, which includes a splash pad, playground and furnished cabanas.
