Located in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida, Frenchman's Creek Beach and Country Club is a private, year-round residential country club community, set on 700-acres of land, and featuring some of the most beautiful golf homes in South Florida.  Offering a full spectrum of residences from golf villas to custom ocean access estates and waterfront homes, Frenchman's Creek Beach and Country Club is distinct from all the neighboring communities - not simply because of the homes, but because of its exclusive lifestyle that cannot be easily replicated. 

The community contains 606 Florida luxury golf homes - 188 custom estate homes, 90 villa homes, 291 patio homes, and 37 townhomes. 95 of these golf homes are located on deepwater canals offering boating and yachting activities. Eleven additional golf homes are located outside the confines of the main community with intra-coastal water access, adjacent to the public marina. Along with the two 18-hole golf courses designed by Jim Fazio and Robert Cupp, around which the golf properties are built, Frenchman's Creek also includes a private ocean-front Beach Club, 17 tennis courts, deep-water anchorage for boats and yachts, a 70,000-square-foot clubhouse, and a stand-alone 11,000-square foot fitness and spa facility exclusively for member use. 

Frenchman's Creek had its beginnings in 1935 when the Hoyt family bought land on North Prosperity Farms Road near the Intracoastal waterway. They were attracted to a freshwater basin and a hurricane haven for boats, and by the 1940s, the family-owned much of the area, then known as Paradise Port. In the later 1940s, federal surveyors found a small wooden sign that one of the Hoyt children, Billy Hoyt, had placed on a small creek. It turned out the children had informally named the stream for one of their mother's favorite novels: Du Maurier's Frenchman's Creek. The name became official and still marks the small waterway that runs through the Frenchman's Creek neighborhood and connects to the nearby Marina.

In 1977, developers Burt Haft and Jack Gaines purchased the 1,400-acres of land formerly owned by the Hoyts, including two public golf courses, from the John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation. The 700-acres south of Donald Ross Road, which included the two golf courses, became Frenchman's Creek. The 700-acres north of Donald Ross Road was sold and are now home to The Bear's Club and Ritz Carlton Golf and Spa communities. Palm Beach County approved the development of 3,300 housing units at Frenchman's Creek however, Haft and Gaines chose a much lower density of fewer than 700 homes sites. In 1986, land on the Atlantic Ocean in Juno Beach was purchased and the Beach Club was built and remains a fixture in Palm Beach Gardens today. 

Frenchman's Creek is owned and operated by its equity members, thus establishing each Member as an owner in part of the common areas, Club, and their related facilities. As a resident in the community, country club membership is mandatory with members paying an Equity Fee, a portion of which is refundable, with the non-refundable portion contributing to the Capital Reserve Fund. Membership in this Palm Beach country club is a family-style membership with golf, tennis , and activities intended for use by every member of the immediate family and are limited exclusively to the residences within the community.
