Gulf Gate Executive Golf is one of Sarasota County’s oldest and most established neighborhoods and is just a few minutes away from the famous Siesta Key and multiple beach resorts. The Gulf Gate Executive Golf neighborhood is very popular in South Sarasota and offers a selection of moderately priced detached single-family golf homes and a limited number of semi-detached golf villas.

The former Gulf Gate Executive Golf course, an 18-hole, par 57 executive-style layout, used to be the center point that held the neighborhood together. Unfortunately, the golf course closed in 2005 and is now being developed into additional residential space, while a large portion remains at the heart of the community to provide an abundance of green space to residents.

Gulf Gate Executive Golf is conveniently located near a range of shopping malls, hospitals, schools, and restaurants. There is no need to drive far in order to find all the essential services needed for day to day living. The famous Siesta Key is also a few minutes away which gives community residents easy access to the beach and several excellent resort facilities in case they need a quick getaway or relaxation. Those who like the water will enjoy a visit to the stretches of white sand on offer at the beautiful Sarasota, Turtle, and Crescent Beaches. Gulf Gate Executive Golf is generally a clean and well-maintained community. It is easy to tell that the neighborhood is active and the sense of community is very much alive. Even though the golf course inside the community has already stopped operating, there are still plenty of excellent golf courses nearby, such as those found at The Oaks Club, Seronoa Golf Club, Stoneybrook Golf and Country Club, or the TPC Prestancia Golf and Social Club which is right next door.
