Strategically located at the boundary of Martin County and Palm Beach County, this secluded ‘Over-55' active community technically has the best of both counties. North of the golf community is Jonathan Dickinson State Park, to the west lies Riverbend Country Club, south is Turtle Creek Club and to its east is Tequesta Village.
Since Little Club is situated within Tequesta Village which is part of Palm Beach County, the area has little to no crime and enjoys the convenience of a public library, a post office, galleries, restaurants, pharmacies, health centers, and commercial establishments. Based on jurisdiction, the club still falls within the county line of Martin County, at the outskirts of the state park. This entitles the golf community to a lower tax rate and insurance and enjoys the woodlands and nature views of the park.
Enjoying a quiet neighborhood, Little Club consists of small clusters of condominiums and single-family golf houses. There are 37 2-story buildings with 10 units each for a total of 370 condominium units. The units are 1 and 2-bedrooms and under 1,000 square feet of living area. The single-family golf houses are 2 to 3 bedrooms and about 1,000 to around 2,000 square feet with a total of 125 being constructed. Though the golf homes were built around the 70s to early 90s, a number have been renovated and upgraded over the years. The golf homes in the community are limited only to a total of 495 units and availability is only through resale.
Though surrounded by 2 golf courses, Little Club has its own private 9-hole golf course. A par 27, it measures 1,080 yards from the white tees, its one, and only tee. The course has obstacles of lakes and bunkers. 5 of the 9 holes have water hazards coming into play. The fairways are narrow to fit into the complex and surfaced with Bahia grass along with the greens. This makes the fairways and greens more durable and easy to maintain. It's a simple course yet fun to play.
The green fee is minimal at only $10 both on a weekday or weekend. Guests of members are allowed to play in this course. Practice areas are also available like a mat driving range and a putting green. Club and cart rentals are also available for hire.
Other amenities offered by the golf community are a cozy clubhouse that has multipurpose rooms, a well-stocked library, billiards, and laundry facilities. Outside there is a heated community swimming pool, tennis courts, shuffleboard, and bocce ball courts.
In the neighborhood, Jupiter is just a few minutes drive from where the famous Jupiter Lighthouse and Jupiter Inlet are located. A wide selection of restaurants can also be found from steaks to seafood along with entertainment. Nearby, the famous beaches run along the coastline.
Living in Little Club offers a carefree lifestyle. The HOA fees cover much of the use of the community recreational facilities plus common area maintenance and other services. This allows you more time to engage in active pursuits thus enjoying your new life of retirement.
