Mangrove Bay Golf Club is a vibrant neighborhood located northeast of St. Petersburg. Although not a 55+ community, most residents are middle-aged and retirees. Only a small percentage of the families that live here have kids at home making the neighborhood as quiet as it is refined. The area is known for its great weather, safe surroundings, and a good combination of the urban-suburban vibe. Mangrove Bay Golf Club community is a great retirement destination but can also be a great option for small families as well.

The community surrounds the large area occupied by the Mangrove Bay and Cypress Links Golf Courses. Most of the neighborhood's golf homes are standard one to three bedrooms and one or two bathroom floorplans, as well as private jetties on many of Mangrove Bay's waterfront properties. The community is 15-minutes away from downtown St. Pete but is more of a residential area far from commercial and industrial hubs. However, it does not lack commercial establishments like hospitals, banks, and shopping centers which are all nearby.

Mangrove Bay Golf Club is a neighborhood notable for having not one, but two golf courses in the vicinity of residents' front doors. Mangrove Bay Golf Course and Cypress Links Golf Course lie next to each other with the former the main 18-hole municipal course designed by Bill Amick and Rick Robbins. The Cypress Links Golf Course is relatively a small 9-hole par 3 course that is great for working on chipping techniques.

The Mangrove Bay Golf Club is a safe community for those looking to purchase their next golf home or investment property with the beaches of the gulf coast less than 20-miles away. The community is convenient to get to either by car or public transport, and some golf homes are even within walking distance of one-stop shops and cafes. There are many notable tourist attractions near the Mangrove Bay Golf Club and when it comes to nightlife there are several restaurants, bars, and clubs in downtown St. Petersburg.
