Golf view is a neighborhood inside the University of Florida’s domain with 85 single-family homes right beside the Mark Bostick Golf Course. Several of these golf homes enjoy direct golf views and all enjoy leafy streets lined with mature trees and well-spaced lots. The neighborhood was developed by James Howard Parrish and Mercer Moornam Parrish who were part of the Inter-Southern Life Insurance Company when the City of Gainesville was really beginning to grow and was expanding its area rapidly.

With current golf property prices of approximately $195,000 to $325,000; golf homes in the Mark Bostick Golf Course at UF community are highly sought-after because of their premium location and limited numbers. The par 70 golf course occupies 118-acres and serves as the key amenity for residents living in the Golf view neighborhood. Originally designed by Scottish golf course architect Donald Ross in 1921, the Mark Bostick layout had a $4M renovation in 2001 spearheaded by Bobby Weed and MacCurrach Golf Construction.

Aside from the golf course, residents also get to enjoy the local clubhouse which is often used for its conference and meeting facilities.
