Golfers in South Florida say it's hard to top the layout of the challenging courses at the heart of the Miccosukee Golf and Country Club community. Built in 1970 in the heart of Miami and designed by Mark Mahannah, Sr., the postcard-pretty grounds have 27-holes over three par 36 courses – Dolphin, Marlin, and Barracuda. One of the most notable golf course designers in post-war Florida, Mahannah was known for changing the face of golf in the area during his decades of work.
