The Palms Golf Club at Forest Lake is a semi-private community located just minutes from the coast in Sarasota, Florida. The Forest Lakes Country Club Estates serves as the capital of this neighborhood and features the community amenities. The Palms at Forest Lake is just 10-minutes away from downtown Sarasota and is still an urban community despite its abundance of trees, vegetation, and lush landscaping.

Palms Golf Club at Forest Lake is composed of single-family golf homes and the estate surrounding the fairways of the community’s golf course, along with a number of apartments, golf villas, townhouses, and condominiums. The Palms’ close proximity to commercial areas and tourist attractions, plus a semi-private golf course right outside the door, make it a highly desirable residential location.

The community’s 18-hole golf course is a par 64 layout designed by Gordon G. Lewis and is one of the few courses in Florida that has an aquatic driving range. The golf club has complete practice facilities but most importantly, a range of other amenities that benefit the entire community, not just golfers. The clubhouse has a restaurant where residents can relax with a drink and dine with family and friends. The clubhouse can also be rented out as a venue for special occasions such as weddings, birthdays, and other family events.

Living at the Palms Golf Club at Forest Lake means leisure and entertainment will never be an issue. Just north of Palms Golf Club at Forest Lake is beautiful Pinecraft Park, while to the northwest is Arlington Park Sarasota. Lido Key, Siesta Key, and Bird Key are all 10 to 15-minutes away from the community and offer residents the multiple beach resorts located along Sarasota Bay. Plus everyday conveniences such as shopping centers, grocery stores, clinics, schools, and government offices are all present in and around the neighborhood.

Forest Lakes Country Club Estates is a deed-restricted village but the regulations implemented by its homeowners’ association are limited to the Estates section alone and do not cover the other parts of the Palms Golf Club at Forrest Lake neighborhood. Community activities and livelihood programs organized within the community are always open to all residents, especially the programs that promote children’s welfare and the nature and ecological awareness movements.
