Sandridge Golf Club is a prestigious public golf course and community located in Vero Beach, Florida. Prospective golf home residents will love the peaceful, serene atmosphere of this golf-centric community. Sandridge features two championship golf courses designed by Ron Garl and a variety of real estate options to choose from. No matter what their preference, Sandridge has something to offer everyone.
Golf real estate in the community includes single-family homes, golf estate homes, mansions, townhouses, and golf villas. Many of these golf residences include an open floor plan with views of the golf course and lake. The homes were designed with a Florida flair in mind, featuring large screened-in lanais, ceramic tile roofs, and hurricane impact windows and doors. There are many that also boast a gourmet kitchen with granite countertops stainless appliances and plenty of storage space. Guest bedrooms are well-sized and have their own bathrooms. Golf course homes start at $500,000 and go up to as much as several million dollars for a home on the water with a spectacular view of the golf course.
Ron Garl created the two 18-hole championship golf courses at the club. The first opened in 1987 and the second in 1992, and Sandridge's Dunes Course was the first golf course in the area. This classic pattern loops around a historic ridge that initially ran along Florida's East Coast and was used for mining. The Lakes Course, the second golf course, features a par 4 hole, the 14th, which is considered one of the most difficult in South Florida, with a tricky island green that attracts players worldwide.
Other facilities in the golf course community include a fitness center, tennis courts, and a swimming pool. There is also a wonderful clubhouse that overlooks the two 18-hole championship golf courses. Residents have a perfect vantage point from the clubhouse to watch their friends and families play on either of the two award-winning layouts that wind through natural wetlands, woodlands, and lakes
The nearest airport is the Vero Beach Regional Airport which is located just a few miles from the club. It provides services to major hubs, including Miami and Orlando. Residents of the Sandridge Golf Club also enjoy all that Florida's Treasure Coast offers as the community is situated close to some of the best beaches in the world as well as shopping, dining, and cultural attractions.
