Starke Golf and Country Club is a suburban residential golf community with a distinctly rural feel in Starke, Florida. The community’s golf houses start from approximately $115,000 for a modest 600-square feet residence to in excess of $1,070,050 for larger golf homes with over 6,000-square feet of living space. This golf community also provides a convenient commute to Jacksonville, Gainesville and Keystone Heights. The neighborhood also has fast Internet, making working from home a breeze. The nearby town of Starke has a population of approximately 5,415 and, much like the Starke Golf and Country Club, has a high proportion of retirees and tends to lean conservative.

Starke ranks with the U.S. Census as one of the suburbs with the lowest cost of living in Florida.

Living in Starke is also convenient and safe. It is just a small town without the hustle and bustle of a large city, yet it has almost everything its residents need. Situated between two larger towns, Gainesville and Jacksonville, Starke is filled with friendly faces and retains its small town charm.

The children of Starke Golf and Country Club residents can attend A-rated schools, including Keystone Heights Elementary School, Starke Elementary School, Brooker Elementary School, Crosswalk Learning Community, Southside Elementary School, Bradford Middle School, and Keystone Heights Junior/Senior High School.
