The Country Club at Deer Run is one of the largest master-planned golf communities in Casselberry, Florida. Encircling a former 18-hole semi-private golf course, the neighborhood consists of more than 12 sections – a combination of gated and non-gated sub-divisions with individual Homeowners’ Associations
Many of golf homes at Deer Run are adjacent to the golf course grounds, with some fortunate enough to sit right alongside the fairways and greens of the community’s former layout. There’s also a small number of the community’s different golf houses which face some of the neighborhood’s small lakes, providing residents with an even more relaxing and tranquil atmosphere.
Built from 1974 to 1997, the golf homes in The Country Club at Deer Run community were constructed by various remarkable builders. Prospective golf property buyers are free to choose from a wide selection of detached single-family, golf villas, and townhouses, each with unique exteriors and interiors. Several golf residences boast traditional architectural style, while some are designed in a more modern and contemporary fashion – there’s even ranch-type estates.
The Country Club at Deer Run isn’t just generous with architectural choices. The community’s golf homes also boast large living areas ranging from 1,000-square feet to as much as 2,500-square feet. Two to four-bedroom and bathroom floor plans are available at Deer Run, with many golf residencies also having two-car garages or private swimming pool areas. Larger homes with extra bedrooms are also available and many golf properties have spacious driveways and well-maintained front yards surrounded by tall trees, as well as enviable cul-de-sac locations.
With everything that’s pleasant about the tight-knit Deer Run community, another great factor for prospective golf home buyers to consider is the neighborhood’s less expensive prices for its golf homes. Deer Run’s golf properties are often priced lower than comparable houses from other Seminole County communities, ranging from approximately $300,000 to a little above $500,000.
Inside Deer Run, residents have a wide variety of recreational activities to enjoy daily. From tennis at night to spending time by the swimming pool or having fun with their kids on the children’s playground, this community truly holds plenty of options for everyone, young or old. Jogging, biking, or walking are also popular activities to do at Deer Run, especially with the neighborhood’s well-maintained foliage and towering shade trees lining every street throughout.
Right outside the community gates, residents will find grocery stores and shopping malls, pharmacies and restaurants, everything they need on a daily basis. Sadly, the semi-private golf course at Deer Run has been closed since May of 2019, and now the land is being discussed as a future location for new residential estates.
