The Village of Duval is part of The Villages, a 55+ golf community and the largest age restricted active adult community in the country. And, like all the golf home residents of The Villages, Duval’s residents enjoy a tremendous array of amenities and a lifestyle that is unique in the world.

The Village of Duval offers different single family homes series such as the Patio, Cottage, Courtyard, Veranda, Designer and Premier ranges – all with their own designs and floor plans. Sizes range from 1,100-square feet to more than 3,500-square feet and are priced accordingly from approximately $200,000 to more than $1,000,000. Courtyard Villas and the Designer series are the most popular golf properties in this village, with prices from around $330,000 to $640,000.

The Villages is a self-sustaining golf community that is complete with retail establishments, post offices, healthcare centers, banks, restaurants, and countless recreational amenities. This ever-growing neighborhood has continuously attracted retirees from around the world because of its warm weather, the ample opportunities it provides its residents, and the quality golf homes it continues to build each year.

Although The Villages offer different pricing for each series, all Villagers have the same privileged access to all the private amenities offered throughout the community. However, added premiums will allow residents to choose a golf home with a golf course view, water view, conservation at the back of the golf property, or their own private pools.

Duval is centrally located between the Lake Sumter Landing and Brownwood Paddock Squares, and close to the Pinellas Plaza shopping area. Roundabouts are common in The Village of Duval, and all roads are golf car accessible. The roundabouts keep the traffic flowing and maintain drivers’ safety. However, some may find these roads confusing, which is why The Villages has the Villages GPS app to help residents navigate all the town squares, recreation centers, myriad golf courses, streets, and neighboring villages.

The Villages is the biggest retirement community in the world with a strong focus on providing health and wellness and the villagers of Duval can choose from a number of excellent sporting and recreational facilities spread around The Villages community, with the Seabreeze Pool and Recreation Center and Bacall Recreation Center being the most convenient. Aside from the recreation centers, where residents can join yoga and aerobics classes, medical centers and health facilities also surround the community.

There really is something for everyone who chooses the Village of Duval. Duval is also surrounded by executive golf courses where residents enjoy free golf for life, specifically the Sandhill, Turtle Mound, Truman, Roosevelt, Bogart and Bacall Executive Golf Courses. The closest country club to the community is the Havana Country Club, and for entertainment of an evening, residents of the Village of Duval can visit Lake Sumter Landing, which offers free nightly entertainment 365 days a year.
