West Palm Beach Golf Club

Year-round sunshine, a booming economy, the world's best beaches, historic Clematis Street, City Place, and no state income tax. The list of reasons for relocating to West Palm Beach Golf Club's wonderful neighborhood community, or finding a second golf home here, are practically endless.

The largest city in Palm Beach County and located at the top of southeast Florida's Gold Coast, West Palm Beach is a popular destination for just about anyone, from tourists to budding technology enterprises. With an influx of money entering the city from all over the world, the West Palm Beach economy has managed to outperform that of the rest of Florida and the nation.

West Palm Beach golf real estate market has the support of several prominent indicators. Housing prices remain affordable, and healthy income trends continue to favor local demographics. For all intents and purposes, the West Palm Beach housing market is one of the most desirable in the country. The range of single-family homes within the neighborhood that adjoins the West Palm Beach Golf Course predominantly features two- to four-bedroom, two-bathroom floorplans. Many also offer large backyards, swimming pools, and one or two-car garages.

Families looking to purchase their first home or a new golf house in the West Palm Beach Golf Club community will find plenty of A-rated schools close to the community. There also are restaurants, retail shops, fitness and gymnastics facilities, and much more nearby. And, the outdoor amenities of Mary Brandon Park, the golf course right next door, and all the sun, sand, and sea of the Atlantic Ocean will keep everyone active.

The West Palm Beach Golf Course, formerly known as the West Palm Beach Country Club, was originally established in 1921 and has hosted a variety of tournaments that have included famous players such as Arnold Palmer. It was moved to its present location in 1947 and is a Dick Wilson designed, 18-hole, par 72 championship layout, that was restored by Mark McCumber and Associates in 2009.

Unlike Florida's many flat courses, the West Palm Beach Golf Course has undulating terrain that provides interesting elevation changes. The routing also features elevated tees and greens and rarely is there a flat lie. The rolling hills are covered with native vegetation, palm trees, and mature pines and oaks. There is also no water to be found on this golf course, a rare occurrence in Palm Beach County, indeed!
