Cabell B. Robinson

Cabell Robinson was born in 1941 and grew up in Washington DC. Finishing his Bachelor of Arts in History at Princeton University in 1963, he enrolled at Harvard University's Graduate School of Design. At Harvard, he met and became good friends with Rees Jones. The two moved to California where Cabell pursued and finished his Bachelor's of Landscape Architecture at the University of California - Berkley in 1967.

His friendship with Rees led him to full-time employment with Robert Trent Jones. Jones would later assign him to head the European office from 1971 to 1987 where he was deeply involved with the design and construction of every Trent Jones course in Europe.

In 1987, Cabell started his own design company and established himself as a prestigious course designer in the Mediterranean region. His works are all over Europe and North Africa including in Spain, Portugal, France, Italy, Switzerland, Morocco, and Cyprus.

Like an artist, he puts his heart and soul into every design he creates. He is known to pick and choose each project carefully. Assuring every developer that he himself did the design and supervised the construction from start to finish. Ensuring the course will always be something unique and memorable.
