Jim Petrides

Jim Petrides, a local engineer from Florida, has designed several golf courses over the past decades including the renowned Lemon Bay Golf Club, located in beautiful Southwest Florida. Sharing views with other well-known layouts, the club is minutes away from Boca Grande and also within an 8-minute drive from another Petrides masterpiece, The Hills at Rotonda Golf and Country Club.

Aside from Florida layouts, Jim Petrides also built challenging routings in the heart of the desert oasis of Thousand Palms, California, namely the Tri Palm Estates and Country Club, specifically its 18-hole and par 3 courses. With much of his work completed in the 1970s, the craftsmanship in his golf designs is clearly evidenced by the fact that many of his layouts are still widely recognized and respected today.
