Justo Quesada Samper

Justo Quesada Samper is a golf architect nor a course designer, this Spanish gentleman was more of a businessman and a real estate developer. An entrepreneur who was a pioneer in the development of residential tourism in the Valencian Community of Spain. He not only drew the layout and built the Golf & Country Club of Marquesa but he also built an airport, the Real Aero Club Quesada. All these because he wanted investors to come and invest in the city that he built, Ciudad Quesada, south of Alicante, Spain.  

Justo Quesada Samper story is an inspiring one. In 1972 he announced his plans to build his own urbanization to the mayor of Torrevieja. But because he didn't have any money and a vast tract of land he was thrown out. Undeterred, he acquired thousands of hectares of land to the south of the municipality with only a guarantee of full settlement within 3 months. He managed to resell those lands to foreign investors to pay off his loans and build up his capital. Succeeding developments followed.
