Kevin Hargrave
Kevin H. Hargrave grew up off the 4th fairway of the small country club where his family was a member. His summers consisted of teeing up on the 5th, playing the remainder of the front nine to the clubhouse, and practicing on the club's range and putting green. Later, while working toward his Bachelor of Science Degree in Landscape Architecture from Purdue University, Kevin was extremely blessed to have the opportunity to work on the maintenance crew at Crooked Stick Golf Club, assisting in readying the course to host the 1991 PGA Championship under the guidance of Pete and Alice Dye.
After college, Hargrave began his career working as an Assistant Project Superintendent. This valuable experience helped him secure an entry-level position with golf course architect Keith Foster, which evolved into his current position of sole design Associate in Foster's firm. Since then Kevin has learned the ins and outs of golf architecture and developed a keen eye for the necessary attention to detail required from one of the top architects in the business today.
To date, Kevin has worked closely with Foster on the design, renovation, and restoration of over 45 courses, some designed by some of the great architects of all. Kevin also started his own firm in 2005 with a focus on providing personal, hands-on service and has compiled a portfolio of over 25 further projects.
