Scot Sherman
Scot Sherman is the lead architect at Love Golf Design, the golf course architecture firm founded by Davis Love III and his brother Mark. Prior to his career at Love Golf Design, Sherman was a senior associate designer with Weed Golf Course Design. Sherman holds degrees from Furan University and Georgia Tech.
Some of Sherman's most recent projects include a redesign of the Birdwood course at Boar's Head and a redesign at Sea Island in Georgia. The majority of Scot's work has been in Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Hawaii, Idaho, Louisiana, Minnesota, Nevada, North Carolina, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Texas, and Virginia.
Scot Sherman was inducted as an associate member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects in 2004. In 2016, Scot was nominated for the Society's Design Excellence Award for his work on Atlantic Dunes, The Sea Pines Resort, Hilton Head, South Carolina.
