Ted Parslow

Ted Parslow graduated from Melbourne University as a Civil Engineer (BE Civil, M. ENG Sci) in the mid-1960s. At that time he played amateur golf relatively seriously to a handicap of 1 and he won several championships.

He has a depth of experience in civil and structural design, construction, and project management within Australia and overseas in Europe, Africa, and Asia whilst also being well versed in all aspects of golf course design and construction. He is a founding member of the Society of Australian Golf Course Architects and a strong advocate of professionalism in the industry.

In 1973 brothers Ted and brother Geoff Parslow combined their respective talents and their mutual love for the game of golf as well as the courses and environments the game is played on to form the company E & G Parslow and Associates (EGP).

In 1992, in order to best serve clients in the Southeast Asian region, E & G Parslow (M) Sdn Bhd was formed. To effectively service clients in China, E & G Parslow (Fareast) Limited was established in 1994. Jason Winter joined the company in 1993, moved to Malaysia in 1995, and is now a partner in the firm.

Parslow & Winter Golf Design became the new company name in 2013 to better reflect the identity and talents of the two principals. From their office in Kuala Lumpur, the practice has flourished and PWGD is widely recognized as a very competent and professional golf course design company.
