Terry LaGree

Terry LaGree is a graduate of the University of Wisconsin-Madison with a degree in Landscape Architecture. He is a registered Landscape Architect in Florida and has a background in the development and planning of Golf Course Communities.

LaGree was the Chief Operations Officer for the world-famous Black Diamon Ranch for over 12 years and was one of the Founding Partners of Barbaron, Inc when it was incorporated in 1988.

He is now the president of Barbaron, Inc. and is responsible for customer relations, operation, and the design division of the business. Since its formation in 1987, the company has completed numerous golf course projects, from one-hole renovations to new eighteen-hole championship courses.

Terry designed the Royal Oaks Golf Club in Ocala, Florida, in 1997. This was followed by the short course at Black Diamond Ranch in Lecanto, Florida, and Diamond Player Club "Florida's Mountain Golf Course" in 1999. The creation of Black Diamond Ranch is where LaGree's company showed its ability to shape golf courses and became a specialized shaping subcontractor. In 1992, Barbaron became a general golf course builder.

Other courses Terry created include the spectacular Sky View Golf Course at Citrus Hills in Hernando, Florida, in 2000 and Pennbrooke Fairways in Leesburg, Florida, in 2001. In 2005 and 2006, Terry designed Jack Frost National Golf Course at Big Boulder, in Blakeslee, Pennsylvania. After more than 25 years at Barbaron, Terry continues to add some of the region's top courses to his growing list of completed projects.
