Thomas McBroom

Thomas McBroom, a Canadian golf course architect, is the principal and founder of Thomas McBroom Associates Ltd., a Toronto-based landscape architecture firm specializing in golf course design. McBroom holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from the University of Guelph and is a member of the American Society of Golf Course Architects.

The Thomas McBroom signature is synonymous with premier golf courses across Canada and around the world. McBroom designs have been the recipient of the Golf Digest "Best New Canadian Course" award six times and in the 2006 SCOREGolf Magazine "Top 100 Golf Courses in Canada" there were 12 McBroom designs listed.

Every McBroom design captures the unique character of the landscape so that each course possesses its own distinct personality, charm, and playing experience. Whether he's crafting a new course or restoring a weary masterpiece, Tom's passion to create courses that stir the golfer's soul is demonstrated in every design that bears his signature.

In the past 25 years, Tom has created a collection of modern classics distinguished by their detail and craftsmanship, strategic intrigue, and beauty. McBroom's portfolio includes some of the most premier private clubs such as Wildfire, Rattlesnake Point, Lake Joseph, Heron Point, and Camelot Golf and Country Club, but to name a few. Most recently his notable designs include Tobiano (BC) and Links of Brunello (NS).
