Tyler Rae

Tyler Rae's first exposure to golf was with his father and both of his grandfathers. They taught him correct etiquette and a gentleman's code of conduct, which he still adheres to this day. Tyler Rae was a Landscape Architecture graduate of the University of Kentucky.

Rae spent eight years working with famed golf architect and Golden Age restoration expert Ron Prichard before starting his own golf design firm. He worked with designers such as Tom Doak and Bruce Hepner, Robert Trent Jones Jr., Rees Jones, Tom Fazio, John Fought, and former Augusta National superintendent Billy Fuller to build new courses and restore aging ones.

Rae has now established his firm and is quickly establishing himself as one of the most talented—and busy—restoration specialists in the industry. Working with a diverse group of historic clubs. Tyler has meticulously cultivated a select client list over the previous 20 years and now manages a sizable staff.

Tyler focuses on the restoration and renovation work of Golden Age architects such as Ross, Flynn, Raynor, Tillinghast, and others. Tyler Rae's wealth of experience is demonstrated by the fact that he has played 98 of the Top 100 Courses in the World and all the Top 100 Courses in America. Rae is also a member of Golf.com and Golf Magazine panels.
