Only 45-minutes southeast of Perth and mere minutes from the picturesque Araluen Botanic Park is Araluen Golf Resort.

Open to the public and cart only, Araluen undoubtedly possesses one of the finest 18 holes, championship golf courses in Australia. With breathtaking views of Perth City and beyond and set in what has often been described as an "Enchanted Valley", Araluen Golf Resort is surrounded by natural Australian bushland inhabited by abundant native wildlife

This par 72 layout, designed by Michael Coate and the late Roger Mackay, is built high up in the beautiful Roleystone hills. The fairways are plush couches, and the greens are smooth, undulating, and fast. The course presents wondrous views of wooded valleys below, with some holes stretching from the tee over the horizon.

The signature hole is par 4, 9th. A long drive is required to reach the landing area before the lake, the only serious water carries on the course, which must then be carried to reach the green.

Araluen has all the practice amenities one would expect including driving range, putting and chipping greens, and practice bunkers. The clubhouse has a pro shop as well as offering visitors food and beverage choices and function facilities.
