The publicly accessible Aurora Hills Golf Course in Aurora, Colorado, is an 18-hole municipal course that opened in 1968. Designed by Henry Hughes the course features four sets of tees allowing for players of all different levels to test their skills. 

Aurora Hills' relatively flat par 72 course has wide, tree-lined fairways and water hazards come into play on several holes. There is also a good amount of sand bunkers placed strategically along with the 6,730-yard layout. The Bent Rye greens are present in great condition year-round and are fairly difficult whilst the fairways are also covered in well-maintained Ryegrass. The signature hole is the 10th, a particularly challenging par 5.  

Beautiful lakes situated on the course create a tranquil atmosphere and Aurora Hills is considered to have lovely, scenic views. Although carts are available the layout is easily walkable, and the beautiful landscape makes for a pleasant stroll.  

Golfers will find a generous array of practice facilities at Aurora Hills including a driving range, a short game practice area for pitching and chipping, and a putting green. There is also a Pro shop for any equipment needs and after round players can relax with a drink or a meal in the course restaurant.
