The Ballarat Golf Club is located in Ballarat, Victoria, this championship Course has a long and proud history going back to 1895, as Australia's oldest continually played the course.
This championship course which opened in 2008, has been redesigned by Peter Thomson and Ross Perrett and provides an outstanding experience for golfers of all levels. Over 18 holes golfers of all abilities will find Ballarat Golf Course challenging, yet accessible.
Set in a landscape of native and exotic vegetation Ballarat's par 72 layouts are entwined with extensive ornamental waterways. The Club recently hosted the ALPG Pro-am which was won by Marianne Skarpnord.
The public is welcome at this walk or cart course, which features well-groomed fairways that require accuracy off the tee. The true-running greens are small and well protected by bunkers or elevated, whilst the rough can be quite unforgiving.
The Ballarat Golf Club clubhouse is home to the bistro and bar as well as modern conference and function facilities. There is also a public driving range and a well-stocked pro shop.
