The three championship golf courses at BallenIsles were originally designed by two of the most highly-acclaimed golf course designers of the era: Dick Wilson and Joe Lee. Known the world over as ‘The Open Doctor,' architect Rees Jones extensively renovated the par 72 South Course which reopened in 2020.
Jones has called the reconstructed holes 7, 8, and 9 ‘The Stretch' that will make or break around. With water in play on every shot from tee to green and long yardages to navigate, this run of holes requires careful planning. Considered by many to be the member's favorite at BallenIsles, the South Course is a challenging but fair 7,006-yard layout that rewards strategy and accuracy.
The club has a Pro Shop and a range of practice amenities for golfers and there is a range of bar and dining options at the clubhouse. There are numerous other activities at the 65,000-square foot Sports Complex that overlook the resort-style pool and 23-court tennis facility ranked number one in the country by the USTA. BellenIsles can also cater to functions and has several event spaces.
