The Bayou Club is the only Tom Fazio Signature Course located at the heart of Largo, Pinellas County, Florida. Founded in 1991, this private championship course has eye-catching frames, old-style bunkers, and soft-flow elevation changes around green slopes.
Outstanding in layout, the course gently weaves its way through oaks as well as pines, and on all but two of the course's 18-holes, marshes and bayous also come into play. Golfers especially look forward to holes 15 to 18, referred to as the “Final Four of Golf,” and the homestretch of this Par 72, 7,085-yard Bayou Club centerpiece is said to be reminiscent of PGA Tour golf courses. The Bayou Club also offers tour-quality practice facilities, with a 2.5-acre, two-sided grass driving range tee and a short practice game area with two large greens. These facilities are manned by a staff of experienced PGA teaching professionals who also conduct clinics.
With special pricing for members, the club's fully stocked golf shop makes branded game essentials readily available. For added convenience, bag, private cart and pull cart storage, locker rooms, shoeshine, and spike repair services are all provided as well. New members may also join the Bayou Club's active associations which initiate member-only tournaments and fellowships.
