This par 72 golf course measures 6,606 yards from its longest tee with a slope of 133 and a USGA rating of 73.2. Despite its private accessibility, Bent Tree golf club is arguably the friendliest country club in the area because of its minimal requirements and membership fees.
Bent Tree was originally designed by William Lewis in 1975 and then remodeled by Ward Northrup in 1994 until its latest renovation which was helmed by Ron Garl. Despite being modified by different designers through the years, the course remains largely true to its original form as the tree-lined fairways of mature oak trees in combination with lakes, streams, and greens create a challenging championship layout for members. Bent Tree also comes complete with a full suite of practice facilities including a driving range, putting green, and pitching area. All in all, Bent Tree is one of the top first-class championship golf courses and country club facilities in Sarasota, Florida.
