The Boca Raton Municipal Championship Course is situated in a 200-acre park setting, this beautiful public course is set at the heart of Boca Raton just 1/4 mile west of the Florida Turnpike on the north side of Glades Road.
Opened in 1982, this 18-hole championship course was designed by Charles Ankrom. It is set on a rolling landscape with mature trees and sprinkled with lots of lakes and bunkers. This course was designed to intimidate bogey players and provide varied challenges throughout the game.
Designed to accommodate every level of player, the course has 5 sets of tees with the Black Tee measuring 6,714 yards in length. A par 72 course with a rating of 71.8 and a slope rating of 131. The fairways are wide but expect water to come into play in many holes. The bunkers line the landing areas and surround the greens. The greens are topped with Jones Bermuda Tifdwarf greens. It plays like an Ultradwarf so the greens are fast. Overall, it is a player-friendly course and highly recommendable. GolfPass gives it a rating index of 4.1 out of 5.
The Boca Raton Municipal Championship Course also offers a driving range with 6 ft. spacing between hitting stations, putting and chipping greens, and a practice sand bunker. A PGA teaching staff is available for private or group instruction.

Situated in West Boca is a public golf course that is well known for its nicely made 18-hole championship golf course and a complimentary 9-hole executive family course.
Designed by Charles Ankrom on 200-acre park property, the layout of the courses is on a rolling landscape with plentiful mature trees and numerous lakes. Aside from the tall trees and water hazards that come into play, the fairways are also peppered with bunkers protecting the greens.
