The historical New South Wales town of Bowral is one of the oldest in Australia, and home to one of Australia's most celebrated cricketers - Sir Donald Bradman. With a near 120 year history, Bowral Golf Club is an extension of the town's character and strong sporting background.

Reminiscent of British style links, it undulates gently and brings out a good combination of hole length and shape. The course feels wide - the fairways are shrouded by native trees, giving it a true forest feeling, but with minimal overhang onto the course itself. The greens at Bowral are unique - tiny and difficult to hold, they won't flatter all golfers but they will be memorable. At 5,400 meters, this is a short course by modern standards, but it romantically harkens back to a former era of Australian golf.

The 10th hole is the longest, most interesting, and biggest challenge. With a leftward dogleg and another turn before the green, this hole requires a full skillset and rigid determination. Getting flustered will cost a shot or two on this par 4. This is one of those holes that can define an entire round.
