BRG Kings Island Golf Resort – Lakeside Course is a 55-hole golf resort in the outskirts of Hanoi and one of the most scenic courses in North Vietnam. 36 kilometers from Hanoi, the golf resort lies on the shores of the Dong Mo reservoir and is one of the oldest golfing destinations in a country that is still relatively new to the game. In a uniquely Vietnamese touch, access to the resort is by boat. 

The par 72 BRG Kings Island Golf Resort – Lakeside Course was the first to open in Hanoi in 1993 and has been a local favorite among golfers ever since. The layout was designed by course architect Robert McFarland who took full advantage of the property. McFarland utilized the undulating terrain and maximized the calming Dong Mo Lake to incorporate challenging golf shots set amongst the lakefront whilst meandering the layout through the natural forest on the island. 

The course plays longer than the 6,516 posted yardage from the championship tees and will continually challenge players of all levels. The TifDwarf greens require accurate play from the tight Bermuda fairways. Lakeside Course is maintained by both international experts and local staff to ensure the condition of the golf course. 

Situated on the top of a hill, the 4,770-square-meter clubhouse offers panoramic views of the golf courses and their surroundings. Here players will find an array of amenities including a Pro shop with caddie service available, a driving range and putting green to practice, a sauna to unwind in along with a bar and expansive restaurant. The resort has luxury accommodation and a swimming pool as well.
