BRG Kings Island Golf Resort - Mountainview Course is a 55-hole golf resort in the outskirts of Hanoi and one of the most scenic courses in North Vietnam. 36-kilometers from Hanoi, the golf resort lies on the shores of the Dong Mo reservoir and is one of the oldest golfing destinations in a country that is still relatively new to the game. In a uniquely Vietnamese touch, access to the resort is by boat.
There are two 18-hole courses at BRG Kings Island, the Lakeside Course opened in 1993, and the highly regarded Mountainview Course which followed in 2004. Recently renovated in 2017 the Mountainview layout is one of the best parkland routings in the country. Kings Island has since opened its new 19-hole Kings Course, in 2018, becoming the country's first three-course venue. It is also one of the few where night golf can be played thanks to a modern lighting system.
The BRG Kings Island Golf Resort - Mountainview Course was designed by Phil Ryan, of Pacific Coast Designs, who designed Mountainview in a way that takes full advantage of the remarkable views of the surrounding mountains. The spectacular, wooded 18-hole layout is a par 72 track reaching lengths of 7,000-yards from the gold tees. Golf enthusiasts will enjoy putting on the Novotec greens which were specifically imported from Australia to survive in the climate of Northern Vietnam
Situated on the top of a hill, the 4,770-square meter clubhouse offers panoramic views of the golf courses and their surroundings. Here players will find an array of amenities including a Pro shop with caddie service available, a driving range and putting green to practice, a sauna to unwind in along with a bar and expansive restaurant. The resort has luxury accommodation and a swimming pool as well.
