The Cane Garden Country Club, Allamanda Course is a beautiful 9-hole layout at Lady Lake, Florida, inside the famous 55+ community of The Villages. This par 36 routing is surrounded by oak trees with lots of water hazards and encircles a 140-acre eagle preserve.
Truly one of the most nature-friendly golf courses in Sumter County, Allamanda was designed by Clifton, Ezell and Clifton and has an expansive maximum length of 3,606-yards from the back tees, longer than either of Cane Garden’s two other layouts, Jacaranda and Hibiscus. Allamanda is both longer and wider, a contrast even more exaggerated when golfers make the turn from Allamanda to play Hibiscus.
At the Cane Garden Country Club’s Allamanda Course everyone from novices to professionals are made to feel welcome – club and cart rentals are available for casual players. As Allamanda can be demanding for golfers of all skill levels, so the club encourages everyone to spend a little time having some fun on its putting and chipping greens. Meanwhile, those who need a little bit more help can enroll with the club’s teaching staff to gain helpful insights from Cane Garden’s qualified golf professionals.
Set back from Bailey Trail, the Cane Garden clubhouse features a relaxing swimming pool and a restaurant with a vast menu that ranges from the standard burgers and sandwiches to crab-topped Angus filet. Members and guests are also welcome to use the club’s billiards room or browse the Pro shop’s range of golfing attire and brand name equipment.
