Volusia County’s Daytona Beach Golf Club is located close to the cool waters of Daytona Beach and just minutes from the Daytona Beach International Airport and the Daytona International Speedway. The City owns and operates the facility which offers two championship layouts, the South Course and the North Course. The North Course offers terrific views and challenging play for golfers of every skill level and the well-groomed fairways and greens make this course difficult yet friendly.

Daytona Beach Golf Club’s North Course was built and designed by Slim Deathridge in 1946. Mr. Deathridge was Head Professional and Manager of the club at the time, and he laid out the original routing of the golf course and supervised construction of the original 18-hole routing.

In 1997, the golf course was re-built under the direction of course architect Robert Walker. All greens, bunkers, and tees were redone. The result is a very challenging golf experience that winds its way through dense Florida oak and pine. There is more water in play and the greens offer more undulation on this par 72 course, which adds to a greater overall challenge. It is generally recognized that this course is the toughest test of the two courses

The Daytona Beach Golf Club, North Course has played host to various tournaments, including the Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University "Eagles" Women's Golf team, who uses the course for practice and intercollegiate matches. The Eagles women's team also hosts the club's annual "Bash at the Beach" golf tournament.

Aside from the two golf courses, the Daytona Beach Golf Club offers a driving range, pitching and chipping area, indoor practice, practice hole, putting green, and a golf school academy – all designed to help golfers get the moist out of their game. The clubhouse can provide cold drinks and snacks to players, while those looking for something more substantial will find it at the in-house restaurant.
