De La Vista is a level 2 course that can play from 1,243 to 1,645-yards depending on the player's selection of tee locations. Each Executive Golf Course at The Villages is rated based on the difficulty of the course. The levels are displayed on a scale of 1 to 4, with 1 being the friendliest and 4 the most challenging. This allows players to choose what playing level best suits them to maximize their enjoyment when they come out to play.
A round of golf on the De La Vista layout will quickly reveal why it's one of the most popular courses on The Villages Executive Golf Trail. The player's choice of tee box largely dictates whether De La Vista is a relaxing day on the course or, from the back tees, a challenging test of their golfing skills. Players will enjoy hitting out on the two par 4s but will also have to navigate the tricky placement of bunkers around the track.
The De La Vista Executive Course boasts one of the best practice putting facilities along the Executive Golf Trail and hosts a well-attended Men's and Ladies' Day. Facilities at the club include a driving range, golf school academy, and teaching pro. Green fees on the executive courses are free for residents. There is no charge for walking the course although golfers can also elect to purchase an Executive Golf Trail Pass, which offers the use of a golf cart on all executive courses, and can be paid daily, monthly, semi-annually, or annually.
