Located 40 minutes north of Auckland in picturesque Whangaparoa, Gulf Harbour Golf Course and Country Club is a world-class golfing destination.

Opening in 1997 as part of a substantial development including the only Robert Trent Jones Jr -designed Golf Course in New Zealand, marina, hotel, apartments, townhouses and other residential dwellings. In 1998, Gulf Harbour Country Club hosted the 1998 World Cup of Golf with many international stars including Sir Nick Faldo and John Daly taking on the challenge.

The Course is routed along rolling cliffs providing both frequent changes in elevation to test players as well as spectacular views of the Hauraki Gulf to delight them. The 12th hole provides panoramic views looking back towards Auckland city as well as the North Shore. The signature 16th hole, located on the cliffs and teeing off across a ravine, provides a tough challenge for golfers. Four tee positions are provided to suit players of all skill levels.

With extensive rental options available, including carts and a wide variety of equipment, both members and visitors can play this picturesque 18 hole parkland course, which ranks in the top 20 Courses in New Zealand and in The Oceania Top 100.

Gulf Harbour Country Club has a wide range of facilities for use by its members and guests, including second to none food and beverage, monthly dining experiences as well as special member functions and events. Catering is available for the smallest to the largest of events, providing an ideal venue to host private functions of all sizes.

The Club is also a popular venue for business retreats and corporate golf days, along with high profile golfing events including two New Zealand Opens.
