Heritage Palms Golf and Country Club boasts another jewel in its crown: the Sabal Course. Established in 1999, this 18-hole championship layout is the brainchild of two of the nation's most celebrated golf course architects, Gordon G. Lewis and Jed Azinger. Renowned for their brilliance, Lewis and Azinger meticulously crafted the Heritage Palms Golf and Country Club, Sabal Course, prioritizing the golfer's experience at every turn.
Approximately 6,691 yards of lush tropical landscaping and challenging slopes throughout are the main features of Sabal Course, which is slightly larger in distance than its sister routing, Royal Course. Featuring quality Bermuda grass and strategically placed bunkers, golfers at Heritage Palms can expect to play for about 4 hours to finish the round. However, the pace is guaranteed to be excellent all year round.
All skill levels are welcome to play in this course. Although most golfers at Sabal are professionals, many live within a short golf cart ride to their golf homes inside the club. Water plays a role in several holes, so it's recommended for beginners or casual players to visit the practice facilities inside, such as the driving range and two-putting greens. They can also sign up for a golf lesson from the esteemed PGA professionals at the club for very reasonable rates.

The wildlife and different species of birds, as well as the towering trees and wooded preserves surrounding the layout, make this a pleasant sanctuary for golfers.

The Heritage Palms Golf and Country Club is laid out on over 800 acres, featuring two immaculate 18-hole golf courses, surrounded by single-family golf homes, luxury twin golf villas, 2-story verandas, and 4-story terrace condominiums. Many golf properties in the neighborhood have large living areas, from 1,194-square feet to more than 5,000-square feet. Almost every house also has expansive floor plans with two to four bedrooms and the same number of bathrooms.
