Located just south of Palm Beach are High Ridge Country Club, an exclusive golf facility and one of South Florida's most luxurious golf clubs. The club's 18-hole championship golf course was originally designed by Joe Lee in 1979 and featured numerous bunkers and ponds.
In 2001, Kipp Schulties redesigned much of the course but kept Lee's original layout. Schulties highlighted the features of the course, including its elevated greens, tees, and visual bunkering. He also added tee boxes and design elements to modernize the previous layout.
Schulties returned in 2010 and performed a complete redesign to attract young players and the par 72 course now plays to 6,829-yards from the back tees. Golfweek USA recently named High Ridge one of the 10 best private golf courses in Florida and the highly-rated golf course features incredible natural beauty and is Florida Audubon Certified.
The new clubhouse at High Ridge was developed to complement the golf course and was even rated the #1 New Private Clubhouse of the Year for 2020 by Golf Inc. The brand new building takes better advantage of the beautiful golf course views, has a welcoming exterior, and an impressively fresh, contemporary interior design.
High Ridge Country Club offers practice areas for pitching and chipping, putting green, driving range, and golf lessons. Amenities include locker rooms, shower facilities, and changing rooms. The club also provides snacks and has a bar and restaurant.
