The Indigo Lakes Golf Club is an 18-hole public golf course situated in a prime location, close to Daytona International Speedway. With easy access via major roads and within a 10-minute drive of Daytona Beach, this par 72 layout is known for its good shape and well-maintained greens.
Built-in 1976, the Indigo Lakes Golf Club is one of the masterpieces of course architect Lloyd Clifton. Players of all abilities are welcomed at Indigo Lakes as the 7,105-yard routing has plenty of challenges for golfers playing off the longest tees. Beginners can practice the basics with qualified teaching professionals at the club’s golf school academy, and there are plenty of other practice facilities, including an expansive driving range, a putting green, and a pitching green.
Apart from the beautiful scenery of the course and the golf club’s attentive staff, there’s more to Indigo Lakes than just golf. Large meeting and function spaces are available for private gatherings and events for up to 250 people and the on-site restaurant, which is a great spot for players to catch up over a delicious meal, can also provide catering services.
Unfortunately, in 2018, Indigo Lakes Golf ceased operations due to declining club membership. In 2021, the local residents moved to have the course renovated despite plans to turn it into a residential development. The management of Indigo Lakes and the Daytona Beach City Commissioners have not yet finalized their plans for the 250-acre layout.
