Isla del Sol Yacht and Country Club boast an 18-hole regulation length course designed by Mark Mahannah, Sr., and his team of golf architects. The course is simply coined “Isla del Sol” by islanders and members of the community ever since it was put up in 1977. This par 72 routing stretches to 6307 yards with a slope of 130 and a USGA rating of 69.1.
The Isla del Sol course has impressive fairways, and the greens are always well-maintained. Sparkling bodies of water are situated in the middle of the course to act as hazards but at the same time provide beautiful aesthetics to the entire round. This private and exclusive golf course is equipped with plenty of practice facilities such as a driving range and practice bunkers.
Isla del Sol Yacht and Country Club also have a resident golf professional who can be hired to teach and train club members that are new to the sport. One of the best assets of this golf course is that you can enjoy the view of Boca Ciega Bay while playing a round of golf. The sea breeze helps players keep cool and stay composed as they traverse the various challenges of the course.
