Jacaranda Golf Club provides 36-holes of some of the best golf South Florida has to offer. The club, located in Plantation and close to Fort Lauderdale, is semi-private with the ability to organize public tournaments and corporate outings.
The grounds of the Jacaranda Golf Club are immaculately maintained and the club prides itself on providing some of the best putting surfaces in the region. Jacaranda's East and West championship courses have earned a four-star rating in Golf Digest and both 18-hole layouts have a tropical landscape covered with ponds, canals, colorful landscaping, and of course plenty of swaying palms.
Opened in 1972 the par 72 East Course was designed and constructed under the direction of, Mark Mahannah Jr. and has played host to many PGA, USGA, and FSGA Championship Events. Bobby Weed completed a renovation of the parkland-style layout in 2006 that included completely restructuring several bunker complexes.
New greens were also enlarged and entirely resurfaced with TifEagle Bermuda to provide flawless putting surfaces. Now ranging in length from 4,923 to 7,245-yards the East Course can be a stern test from the back tees but still provides an enjoyable experience for the higher handicappers
Members and visitors to the club can utilize the practice facilities which include a driving range, putting green, and a chipping area to work on their game. Following a round, the clubhouse amenities include both a bar and dining options to relax in, and the club can also cater for private functions and events.
