The Jensen Beach Golf Club, formerly known as the Eagle Marsh Golf Club, features a Tom Fazio-designed 18-hole public golf course and is a premier destination for a golf experience in South Florida. Built in 1997, the layout at Jensen Beach is the closest course to Hutchinson Island and the beaches making it the perfect choice whether you are a local or visiting on vacation.
The former Eagle Marsh golf course solid reputation for overall conditioning, unparalleled greens, and a host of challenging holes which made it such a truly memorable experience had waned over the years. However, four Swedish golfers recently took over the ownership, including former PGA European Tour professionals Joakim Sabel and Johan Tumba, and they have instituted a broad refurbishment program and a host of improvements.
Since their take over the par 72 courses has been made more playable with greatly improved course conditioning. The rough has been lowered considerably, fairways have seen some re-shaping, and the greens now have a high-end program in place. With five sets of tees the renamed Jensen Beach layout, which stretches up to 6,918-yards, is a real challenge for the experienced golfer and player friendly from the forward tees.
The club has a Pro Shop and a range of practice facilities where members and visitors alike can work on their game. The clubhouse amenities include both a bar and restaurant and the club can cater for private events and functions.
