Located in Martin County the private Jupiter Hills Club is known for having some of the largest rolling hills for a South Florida golf course. The community in Tequesta, Florida, features two challenging 18-hole layouts - the par 72 Hills Course which opened in 1970, and the Village Course which followed in 1978. 

As an old pro from Pine Valley who lost an Open at Merion, George Fazio blended features of both of those great courses into his design at Jupiter Hills, the high point of his second career as a golf course architect. Built from a distinct sand ridge that runs laterally along the Atlantic seacoast north of West Palm Beach, the terrain was so good, Fazio claimed the Hills layout was his favorite. 

A decade after it opened, George retired near the property, and couldn't resist constantly tinkering with it. He ultimately removed many of its most unique, Pine Valley-like aspects. Thirty years later, his nephew Tom Fazio, who had assisted on the original, re-established many of those early characteristics, emphasizing the prominent sand ridge and resultant elevation changes on which George first routed the 7,344-yard course. 

The 40,000-square-foot clubhouse is located on the highest point on the Jupiter Hills property. It offers majestic views of the golf courses, the Intracoastal Waterway, and the Atlantic Ocean beyond. Members and their guests will find a Pro shop, fitness center, and a spa at Jupiter Hills along with the practice facilities available for golfers to work on their swing. There are also a bar and restaurant to relax in after a round.
