At the entrance to the island of Key West, the unique Key West Golf Club's 18-holes encompass over 200-acres of beautiful Florida Keys foliage and wildlife. Key West offers enjoyment and activities to all ages including award-winning restaurants, nightlife, diving, fishing, and many other activities, while the club features the only Caribbean golf course in the United States.

The course is open to the public so anyone can come to meet all the exciting challenges of the Key West Golf Club, including the infamous “Mangrove Hole.” This 143-yard par 3 is played completely over a field of thickly intertwined tropical mangroves and is as intimidating as any water carry.

Originally built in 1924 by William B. Langford, legendary golf course architects Rees Jones and Keith Evans masterfully re-designed Key West's par 70 layouts in 1983, and the course now stretches to a touch over 6,500-yards. That may not seem far from big hitters, but the course plays much longer than the yardage as Jones was ingenious with his use of the small amount of land available on the island. He made sure almost every green was elevated, forcing golfers to add at least one extra club to their shot and he also made the shorter holes the toughest on the golf course.

Considered a must-play for anyone visiting or living in Key West, the course is both challenging to players of all abilities and fun to play, with fast greens and even better views. Golfers will find a well-stocked Pro shop on hand as well as a full range of practice facilities to warm up on or fine-tune their game. Key West's clubhouse is available for all kinds of events and the banquet facility's tropical décor is accentuated by the picturesque view of the Rees Jones-designed golf course.
