La Manga North Course is sitting in the shadow of the South course is another winner of a course by La Manga. Shorter and hillier than the south, it is technically more accessible and friendlier for players of all levels. Which is no wonder it receives more traffic compared to the South and the West courses.
Also designed by Robert Dean Putman, this par 71 course is 6,294 yards (5,755 meters) at the white tees, with narrower fairways and larger greens compared to the South. The North course also has more spectacular views with plenty of palm trees, lakes, and ravines (barrancas). Buggy is not required as the course is walkable.
The course is not complicated but some holes are challenging even for experienced players. Accuracy is still the key as you navigate the fairways. The course winds its way to the par 4 18th hole where the green sits in front of the Principe Felipe Hotel.
To cap your day, the 37th Sports & Spike Bar, rebranded as the 19th tee, serves refreshing drinks and tasty meals. The restaurant has dedicated corners to honor golfing legends who made significant contributions to the club. The terrace also offers a splendid view of the North and South courses.
