La Marquesa Golf and Country Club originally named “Quesada Golf Club”, this golf course was the flagship of Justo Quesada Samper. He designed and developed this course in order to attract investors to the urbanization or large residential project he envisioned and built 58kms south of Alicante, Spain, the “Ciudad Quesada”.

Quesada Golf Club opened in 1989 and was later renamed “La Marquesa Golf and Country Club” in 1994. An 18-hole par 71 course that is around 6,688 yards in length. It is located in a flat valley between mountains in the Valencian Community. The layout alternates between long holes and short holes. The course offers excellent views and provides beautiful and natural surroundings with streams and lakes. It offers a pleasant walk with pines and palm trees lining the fairway. Players of all levels will enjoy playing as the course is not excessively difficult. But seasoned players may find it a bit easy.

Over the years, the course underwent several technical improvements and designs to improve its playability. The latest improvement was the ambitious project of constructing Hole no. 16 into an exact replica of the mythical “Hole 17 at Sawgrass”. This latest addition makes the course more interesting and challenging.

The golf course is open to visitors every day. It also offers a wide range of services such as a restaurant, cafe with terraces, practice facilities with driving, putting, pitching, chipping, a practice bunker, a pro shop, and rental facilities.
