Designed by the father and son team of Harry and David Rainville, Laguna Woods Golf Club is a private golfer's paradise for the residents of Laguna Woods Village. There are two professional courses: a challenging 27-hole championship course and a nine-hole, par 3 executive-style routing.
The 27-hole golf course consists of three distinct nine-hole layouts and is located adjacent to Clubhouse 2 on Moulton Parkway and is accessed through the Village Greens at Gate 12. The course is open every day of the year and is irrigated with reclaimed water.
In addition, there is a golf driving range, practice bunker, putting greens and a chipping area for players to practice on. Three full-time golf professionals offer private and group lessons. A well-stocked Pro shop, low fees and electric cart rentals put everything a golfer needs in Laguna Woods Village.
The nine hole leisure course is accessed through Gates Seven and 10. Residents and their guests may play nine or eighteen holes of golf. A practice pitching green and bunker area are also available here as well. In fact, the Laguna Woods Golf Club has over ten putting greens to choose from throughout the two golf courses.
The Laguna Woods Golf Club’s Pro shop, which is located in the starter building at the main 27-hole course, maintains a variety of golf clothing, supplies and equipment. The club also provides ample, well-organized, clean and safe golf club storage for its residents, along with billiard tables, tennis courts and a swimming pool.
