On the banks of Connel Lake, just outside of Inverness, Florida, sits Lakeside Country Club. With wide oak and pine tree-lined fairways, paired with long par 5s and large undulating greens that are guarded by 51 bunkers, this course has a challenging but enjoyable layout that is truly a must-see.

Initially designed by Bill Campbell in 1979, the par 72 Lakeside Country Club's 18-hole course stretches 6,405-yards and offers bunkers, forced carries, and elevation changes. It has an enjoyable routing with some interesting holes that make it very popular among locals, seniors, and nearby residents.

In addition to world-class golf, its Pro Shop offers a variety of golf balls, amazing apparel, gloves, and other golf accessories. The club also provides rental clubs for all ages and golf lessons are also offered for individuals and groups. The semi-private golf club also offers practice areas for driving and putting and other facilities for its golfers. Other amenities provided by the club include lockers, shower facilities, and changing rooms.

Lakeside Country Club also features its own popular restaurant, the Lakeside Grill, where diners are provided great food, fantastic surroundings, darts, pool, and “afternoon specials.” The restaurant is not only popular among golfers but for locals who just want to eat out for the day instead of staying at home.

Membership to the club includes 1 month, 3 months, 6 months, and Platinum membership options. Platinum members of the club can enjoy playing at three golf courses in Citrus County, including Lakeside Country Club, Citrus Springs Country Club, and The Country Club at Silver Springs Shores.
