The Erinn Glenn Course is a 9-hole layout located in the southern section of the LPGA pro Nancy Lopez-designed Lopez Legacy Country Club. The par 36 routing is one of three famous routings at Lopez Legacy, alongside the Torri Pines and Ashley Meadows Courses, and is also the longest of them, measuring 3,512-yards from the back tees.

First-timers who want to visit the golf course can drive either from Spanish Springs or Lake Sumter Landing. There, they will be welcomed by the friendly staff of Lopez Legacy, whom they can depend on whether it’s rentals for carts or clubs, membership inquiries, or accessing the club’s many great amenities.

Out on the Lopez Legacy Country Club’s Erinn Glenn Course, many of the holes are landscaped with live oaks and water. One unique feature of this routing is the semi-blind tee shot at the sixth, where a pond guards the left side of the approach but can’t be seen from the tee. With that, expertise and prudence in equal measure are the order of the day on this layout, especially if players don’t want their ball swimming in the water.

Beginners are always welcome at Lopez Legacy and there’s a good array of practice facilities to help them prepare for the challenges out on course. As a semi-private golf course, club members and the public are invited to use the club’s expansive aqua driving range and putting green. Golf instruction is also offered to golfers who want to learn from the pros.

Meanwhile, those who just want to hang out at the club are welcome to dine in at the clubhouse’s on-site restaurant, serving some of the best meals to be found anywhere within the gated grounds of The Villages. They also have several soft clay tennis courts with available hitting nets, a swimming pool with access to a pool bar, and a golf Pro shop offering merchandise from Nancy Lopez herself.
